The SensorHub: a stationary sentry robot
Think of the NXTFusion SensorHub as the brain and senses of our AI as a Service platform — not a mobile robot itself, but the perception-and-cognition unit that makes the rest of the system act like one.
Senses
Multi-camera vision (day/night, wide coverage) feeding real-time video into the unit — its eyes on the venue, from Snapdragon Stadium to Sutter Health Park.
Brain
Runs edge compute that turns raw video into understanding: detecting anomalies, classifying threats, and deciding what’s worth flagging.
Voice and actions
Instead of arms or wheels, it acts through the ChatOps and alerting layer — pushing sub-2-second alerts, triggering workflows, and orchestrating a human or automated response.
Body
A standardized, weather-ready enclosure converging on one shared chassis across all deployments.
If a typical robot is sense → think → act via motors, the SensorHub swaps motors for alerts and orchestration — a stationary sentry robot whose limbs are the response workflows it triggers downstream.

The NXTFusion SensorHub Generation 4 (G4) represents NXT Robotics Corp’s fourth-generation autonomous SI edge platform — the core physical hardware that powers every NXTFusion deployment. Unlike cloud-dependent systems, the SensorHub processes intelligence at the edge, delivering sub-second threat detection and real-time operational awareness without relying on facility network infrastructure.
